Hello everyone,
So it is getting late, at least for me and I am still working on getting packed so I can leave tomorrow for Washington. I must say, I am so packing like a girl! Taking way too much stuff because I'm not sure what I want or what I will need to wear for my running adventure. Checked the weather and it is suppose to be great, so that helps a little. Ok, not really. Hey, at least I will have options, right?!
Thank heavens my sleeping bag and camping stuff don't take so much effort. They are already nicely packed in the trunk of my car waiting for the adventure to begin.
I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I have planned for this all summer and can't believe it is finally here. Kinda like Christmas. It just sneaks up on ya before you know it. I look forward to sharing the adventure my bag and I will have this coming week.
Until then, make it a great one!
Hittin' the Trails,
Jen

Hello everyone,
Hope all is well and you are finding the time to get out and enjoy your sleeping bags and all the great things that come with using them. As school has started and the weather cools we tend to hold back on getting out and enjoying nature. I encourage you to get out and enjoy the crisp, refreshing air, smell of a warm campfire and beauty that refills the soul. I am thinking I will actually try some winter camp-outs this year, as I have always wanted to and have never done it. Sounds like a great time to maybe use a double sleeping bag and get cozy with someone you love. Hmm :) Not to mention taking plenty of hot chocolate.
I also just placed an order for one of our childrens themed sleeping bags. These are fun bags and come in many themes for those cute boys and girls in your life. Check out www.SleepingBagStation.com to see our selection of themed sleeping bags as well as all our other bags to serve your camping needs.
I am getting ready to go to Mount Hood to pace a friend in a 100 mile trail run and look forward to letting you in on all the fun. So until then.....

ok, now I have your attention! I forgot to turn the picture before I posted it, but if you turn your head to the side just a little you'll see Shane standing in front of the magnificent Grand Teton as he just finished hiking to the top of Table Rock. He was so happy to be standing there looking at the beauty all around him. Actually, he was happy because he knew we could have lunch. We did have to fend off several Marmots and creatures so we could eat in peace. This was a great way to spend our day!
After setting up camp and eating half of a gourmet chicken pizza, I couldn't resist taking a quick rest. These bags are bags we've had for 14 years and we love them. A synthetic fill, easy to clean and warm to sleep in. We certainly were able to get a good nights rest before hiking Table Rock Mountain the next morning. Oh, I didn't mention the added amazingness of the meteor shower occurring that night also. What a great trip!
