Hi Everyone,

How are those "I'm Grateful for" lists coming? Hopefully long and plentiful.

As Thanksgiving nears I can almost smell the aroma of the turkey as it cooks and taste those creamy mashed potatoes and gravy smoosh on my tongue. Oh yeah, and pumpkin pie with loads of whipped cream. How many more days do I have to wait? And where is my sleeping bag so I can be ready for a great nap afterwards?

Actually the month is moving quickly and before we know it the Christmas season will be in full swing. Ya know, I just love this whole time of year of giving and receiving and counting blessings. I like that our minds turn more away from ourselves and focus on others and the fun of gift giving. Imagining the joy on others faces warms our hearts and brings a smile to our own faces. I wish you the best as you participate in the whole giving and receiving process. From making lists to shopping to wrapping to giving and even receiving. Have fun with all of it.

As you prepare your shopping lists remember to add www.SleepingBagStation.com for those who love the outdoors, those who could use a new sleeping bag, or for those indoor sleepovers and more. Let us assist you in making the shopping experience fun. Check out our exciting themed kids bags.

Happy Camping,
Jen

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a spooktackular Halloween. Ours was wonderfully warm, 48 degrees and no wind, which made it great for Trick or Treating. In our case it was Trunk Or Treating, which I have come to love.

As the weather cools and the trees are bare preparing for their winter slumber my mind turns to staying warm and reflecting on all I grateful for. A few of those things being things like my cute little family, beautiful harvest moons, a warm house, yummy food, great friends, the sweet smell of fall and it's crisp air, and anticipating the first real snow fall that ushers in winter fun.

I hope you all have more things to be grateful for than you can name. I recommend taking a few minutes each day and create a list of those things and just see how blessed your life really is.

This is a great time to pull out your sleeping bags and see if any repairs are needed and get them aired out and laundered. It's also a great time to use those bags in a non-typical way for most of us by having a campout in the front room with the kids. Put on your favorite family movie and have some fun snacks on hand and simply enjoy being together. Oh yeah, turn off your connections to the outside world so you are not tempted to leave this sweet time with your family. Open a window for added effect. :) Now, have a great time!!

Remember to check us out at www.SleepingBagStation.com for your holiday "Gift Bag" shopping.

Happy Camping,
